ı am using tactical defence,they say ı should use close marking,ı am pressing the button which marked,but my player just stands doesnt do anything,his player just passes me.(ı tried getting close first,ı tried with the sprint,still didnt work.)

I can't defend either... I'm a legacy user so yes it may be the issue...
