what gives was so nice for a week

people for some reason decided to spend time with the family's instead of having fun

Servers were already congested with even minor queue's during off peak times, adding new content = more want to log back in again.

Got hit with a combination punch of:

1. Holidays are completely over now so people are back home and have gotten back into their normal every day routines.

2. 6.05 patch just hit and that released the savage versions of the raids that had been released a couple of weeks ago, new tomestomes dropped as well, raid loot reset for the normal raids, new treasure map for Endwalker launched.

Yeah, I honestly didn’t think enough people would be willing to sit in 2k+ queues for more than 2 weeks but alas I was wrong. At this point the only thing I see making a real dent in the queues(in prime time) is if the twitch streamers and their herds move to GW2 when that expansion drops in February.

Right. Least GW2 never ever had queue times, even when it first came out. You’d be surprised at how many people still play that game bud.

Well depends on setup. Got my nice ass GTP office chair, Nvidia monitor nearby to cast from phone...and COD mobile to play as I chill by the laptop =)

Do you cheat your time? Like log in before Prime time to secure your place? Then babysit it and make sure you move so you don't disconnect? If so, you're part of the problem <3

The alternative is to be free from strict hours and just play during non-Prime time, but I know for a fact during those first weeks my scumbag NA friends would do what I described.

not really, EU servers are without any queue, it only gets a bit rough around 7pm~9pm vut thats it. i hear the same from US friends that it is on primetime just a bit higher but not as bad as before. everyone i know which plays on the US worlds waited not longer then 5~10 mins. as of now.

with other words, its for sure not 2 hours ... or are peoples trying to cry for more free days? the free time which they given away isnt over yet. so technicly can you not complain evne if the waiting queues would be huge again. in about *looks at calender ....* 5 days can you complain again about waiting queues ö_ö.

Christmas is over. People started playing the game again now that they're no longer entertaining or visiting family and friends.

It is still that bad on Greg even on weekdays. Just last Sunday I had to wait over 3 1/2 hours in queue.
