Can anyone help me with mythic paths ?
What are the mythic paths best for 3 separate playstyles. I kinda missed out on trickster and im playing meele. I dont want to miss out on mythic paths on my other playtroughs with different playstyles. I would like to know what mythic paths are good for meele, ranged and caster plastyles. Its not about the best its more about better suited for those playstyles.

After that every other mythic path just doesn't give me even anything close. Now if we had Aivu as something that woudl change/adapt with the player in form and personality depending on mythic path selection then I'd be more interested in playing the other mythic paths. Imagine her as an undead (lich mythic) or corrupted (Demon/devil). Removing an entire companion in act 5 JUST for changing mythics is just too harsh. Can't even keep her if you're a gold dragon.

January 12, 2022 @ 12:06:06 am PSTThe only Mythic Paths of any real interest to me are Trickster (my main playthrough), Aeon and Lich for unique story purposes, Swarm That Walks for weirdness. The rest while they may have some interesting components or good synergies are otherwise boring to me. Trickster can be played with literally any build and work decently well. Lich/Aeon both seem extra good for spellcasters above everything else, but I'm not looking to far into them yet. Other than that, most Mythic paths don't fall into a "more suited for melee/ranged/magic". It is much more about your role in combat or the abilities your class gives access to. For example, is your melee character in question focused more on staying alive or dealing damage? Defense, I would maybe go Gold Dragon - Offense, maybe Aeon/Azata->Devil.

January 12, 2022 @ 2:19:10 am PSTNot perfectly min maxing but im playing on hard and not optimizing your team is incredibly punishing. 1st playtrough was a nightmare on hard so i rerolled and on 2nd try i optimized and it is tons easier almost feels like normal. Thats why i realy plan ahead now to have smooth playtrough. I steamrolled drezen on hard now (0 problems so far), completetely different enjoyment of the game. Thats why im reserching a bit but dont want to use build guides. So much fun building from the scratch and learning things. mythic path are pretty open, so you can fit any role into any path if you are not looking to minmax to the limit, so thematically i guess:
angel & lich for caster
azata for bardlike class
demon for melee class
trickster for sneak attack class
aeon for support class

January 12, 2022 @ 2:25:31 am PSTWell i had a run as an Angel while i played as an Eldrtich Scion with golden dragon blood, as i'd mix the Eldritch Scion with a dragon disciple and then i went down the path of an Angel and chose to become a golden dragon as my character was more of a benevolent and kind person who did not fully enjoy doing violence (even if he could at chapter 4 bench press a mountain with insanely high strength stats), cause i find a golden dragon to be rather interesting, i did also play the powerhungry Lich character to want all the power in the world for themselves with little love to give the world. or how about as the lawfull evil "devils adovocat" essentialy signing deals and commanding infernal armies against the abyss. but for the sheer amount of awe inspireing units, i mean Aoen got the inevitables who are amoungest the most tankiest units ive ever seen as they aren't meant to be damageing but they are insted immune to pretty much all status effects of both mind and body and having 7 damage resistance and high armor (so a general with good armor boosting and warding) as these guys will take alot of damage before even losseing a single unit, and couple that with that i played my Aoen who allied themselves with the Hellknights so i had the "hellknight Signiferes" who has greater fireball spells and magic missile, so haveing about 200 signifires, 50 of these inveitables a squad of 300 hellknights and lastly Marksmen to deal with pesky and dangerous enemies by sniping them

First, with the basic Paths :
- Angel : Divine merged spellbook makes it perfect for a divine fullcaster.
It has some nuke spells and is heavily buff centric.
One of the most popular Angel Build is the "Battle Oracle" : Oracle with Battle Mystery to get some fighting feats along the way.
- Demon : the main feat is the demonic rage... which stack with any form of berserker rage (including bloodrager rage), so that makes it great for Barbarian or Bloodrager.
BUT, different demonic aspects can allow you to do different things.
Some demonic aspects are good for full caster builds.
Demon also get increased natural attacks at some point.
- Azata : it have songs that stack with bard songs, but the feat is overall great with anything. Superpowers can give you different edges.
Zippy Magic is good for full caster or Kineticist
Partywide team feats is always great.
You get a Dragon Pet (which is the cutest thing ever) on top of it.
- Aeon : the Aeon works great with a full martial class (that has a lot of attacks) thanks to the "Aeon Bane" ability. It works like the Inquisitor Bane ability (and stack with it) and applies magic dispel on hit, be it with attacks or spells. I did a Quarterstaff Master monk (with some two handed fighter splash) that absolutely wreck everything...
Alternatively, Aeon have a lot of synergy with Conjuration and can make your conjured monsters more than just meat shield (applying your Bane to them, giving them even more buffs, etc.)
- Trickster : mythic tricks revolve around the use of skills, so you may want a high intelligence character with it. It also gives you sneak attack dices (5 to be precise, without counting mythic and regular feats) so it goes well with class that already have sneak attacks.
An Arcane Trickster Trickster can be really powerfull as a fullcaster trickster...
Alternatively, you can play a full martial class and get a full wizard spellbook thanks to a Mythic trick.Trickster is all about breaking the rule by being tricky.
- Lich : Merged arcane spellbook makes the lich the most fearsome arcane fullcaster. Alternatively, some of the Lich powers can make it a really powerful natural attacker or monk.
Now for the "Lategame Paths"
Legend : 40 class levels means a lot of builds available.
My Aeon Quarterstaff master with some twho handed fighter splash ? Yeah, now I'm a full monk full fighter, thank you !
Fullcaster + Eldritch Knight + Fighter levels ? You're a decent fighter with more caster level than a regular fullcaster.
There's so much ♥♥♥♥ to do...
Gold Dragon : didn't test it, but I heard that you stack your attributes to insane amounts... Plus you can transform into a dragon.
Devil : It's an icing on an Aeon or Azata cake, so it works largely like them.
Devil has some caster centric abilities : at-will hellfire ray, at-will domination...
Swarm-That-Walks : start out buillied, then become an unstopable bag of stats.

angel & lich get the easy 24h geniekind option
trickster gets crit & vitalstrike
demon gets demoncharge & vitalstrike
azata gets zippy magic & vitalstrike
the melee vitalstrike builds are mostly sword saints for int to ac, hitting touch ac and easy true strike access
charge build can alsp be great but are alot more situational and need more buffing to work

Unarmed is *not* natural. If you want to create a demon natural attacker - for some reason - then monk is not the way to do it.
The demon path works much better with a magus or similar melee hybrid that uses a weapon with some bite/gore attacks as cherry on top.

My Demon Natural Attacks is something like that :
Race : Tieffling, Motherless (1 bite attack)
Level 1 : Monk, Scaled Fist (mainly for the AC).
I know, Monk dip is the most tired thing out there, but every min-maxer under the sun use it for a reason.
Level 2 : Stigmatized Witch, Wolf Face (1 bite attack without any downside) with the Frost thingy hex (the one that gives +2 natural AC)
Level 3 to 6 : Primal Bloodrager, Snake Bloodline (1 bite attack), can change bloodline powers for barbarian powers (you will want the one that guive you a bite attack)
Level 7 to 10 : Dragon Disciple (you will need to spend a mythic ability to get a Dragon Bloodline for this), gives you 1 Bite attack, some Natural AC and +4 to your strength.
Level 11 to 20 : Primal Bloodrager to maximize your rage and bloodline powers. At class level 12, Snake Bloodline gain natural reach (which should be around character level 18)
Mythic Path : Abyssal into Demon.
Ultimately it gives you a horn attack and two claw attacks.
I'm currently level 12 in this build and I'm doing 9 natural attacks per round while raging, 7 otherwise.
Feat wise, you get to choose from the dragon and snake feat pool... some overlap, but some are different. Funnily enough, as you progress through the Dragon Disciple level, you will get dragon feats earlier than snake feats.
Survivability wise, the build is quite efficient : from the bloodlines natural AC (snake give poison resistance and natural AC, Dragon disciple gives natural AC, Witch hexe give natural AC), to the Monk AC. Plus as a bloodrager you can cast shield and mage armor, allowing you to use the Archmage Armor ability. Add some other party buffs on top and you're pretty safe.
You don't even need to get the Mythic Ability that gives you at-will Rage, since your demonic Rage will gives you your bloodrager rage anyway and you don't even need to rage to clear the fodder.
The downside of this build is that since you use 3 different weapons (Claws, Bite and Horn), it would cost too much feat to get weapon focus or specialization.

A strength based, high crit, charge build gets the most use. Preferably with the pounce ability. This gives all of your charge attacks or crits the ability to disable the enemy. I think a primalist bloodrager is a good fit for azata melee since you can get pounce, and you will have a charisma stat that also lets you use life bonding friendship.

Correct. It's about items to enhance the maximization. Many items that augment Unarmed Attacks ALSO augment Natural Attacks and vice versa. Not because they are the same, just because the item says so. I'm sure you've seen a least one of them. Nor did I ever say monk explicitly. I was certainly thinking it when I wrote the it, but I know there are other possible decent unarmed builds that only use monk for a dip - maybe some that don't, not sure.
