Deogen's are supposed to be slow, so how is it that when the hunt begun I was even aware of its position as it was approaching me, and I ran away from it at full speed and it still managed to catch me? It almost seemed like he was teleporting right after I took a photo of it during the chase, this game does not make sense sometimes. LAME

Were you behind a table or chair? or trying to loop the Deogen on Willow around the kitchen island? these can have LoS breaks and will lead to the ghost speeding up briefly. Eh, it could be helpful as a hint, but hints lead to people being confused. ..like the Phantom being summoned by the Ouija Board. xD makes no difference.

There's always the possibility that there was some desync or lag with the server that made your position not update correctly. Unfortunate. Or you accidentally got too close when trying to get your picture (ghost 3 star photos have longer range than object 3 star photos so you don't have to get as close as you might think)

They are super fast when far away, and slowly down the closer they get to you. They are extremely slow within a couple of meters, though at that distance you need to be careful not to bump into anything, because if you stop moving it will still catch you.

It is kind of implied via their listed strength that fleeing from them is pointless, as they are constantly aware of where you are. Not too big of a logical leap to think "if I can't hide... I got to kite it"

Really, that is honestly the scariest part about it being a Deogen... if you don't know it's one, they're gonna kill ya for sure because they will just charge at your hiding spot.

Can confirm it sucks not knowing when it is a Deogen. Had a ghost yesterday that refused to give anything other than D.O.T.S. but we needed someone to survive a hunt. I volunteered, had to get to 0% sanity and hang around as it didn't want to do anything, smudged when it finally hunted, and went to my hiding spot only to be cornered and die.
