If you adjust your gamma you can see really well in the dark. It gives you more usable hours in the day.

The day is not too short. It's perfect. You just suck at games.

Gotta love the people who are so damn inflexible in their gameplay model that they they quit over something as simple as a gamma adjustment. No wonder so many EA games never make it.

To be fair Half of EA games today don't make it because of lazy devs wanting to make a quick buck for doing very little work just fling a couple of assets in and call it a game, you cant blame the people who end up purchasing them.

I agree to some extent - there are definitely some devs out there who are just in it for a quick buck, From what Ive seen this doesn't seem to be the case with these Devs tho. They appear to be doing a good job. I just get tired of people moaning about EA games all the time and putting other gullible types off who won't bother to even try a game if they see any negativity. By all means bring up legitimate problems but whining about how dark a game is when all you need to do it turn up the gamma a fraction just seems a bit picky to me.

I mean really, how is adjusting the gamma any different than finding a "time speed" slider and adjusting that? It's more or less the same thing, because I found adjusting the gamma to make almost no difference in the day time while giving me 2 extra visible hours at night.

Love how this guy is essentially accusing devs of laziness when he's being lazy.

Depending on what type of monitor you have depends on how the gamma needs to be set, so it's not even related to the game. We picked a gamma setting that suits our monitors, but if I'm working from home then I have to increase the gamma as my monitor is darker and has more contrast.

Also thank you all for the positive comments about us! I can assure you, our 2 developers are the complete opposite of lazy :D

Also worth noting to anyone else who comes across this topic: Gamma is a setting in the game itself, no need to adjust anything on your actual computer, just in this specific game's settings.
