i keep wondering why my chickens etc die. alot! today i realised that i have a water tower, my chickens water trough (1 big, 1 small) are well withing range. but... once the troughs are empty, they wont refil. i have to go to the tower and press e to fill. this should be automatic. whats going on?

And why don't I get running water in my house? My house is in range of the windmill but i still have to fill cooking pots with water from pails. I should be able to get water into the cooking pots from the Kitchen faucet.

Try using the big troughs i had the same trouble then i guild the big ones and now i i don't have any trouble with the water

i am using the big windmill ones. the ones that should auto refil etc

Must be a bug in the save because I exclusively use the small water and feed troughs and never had this issue.

As a side note: I have had several bugs in saves but nearly all have resolved themselves by making a new game and testing it to see if the problem persists. In about 95% of the cases the new game does not have the problem and the old save then works fine. There has to some temporary files that can get corrupt or error riddled during a session with older saves but a new game is somehow fixing the problem.
