So, a few weeks ago, I was having issues logging into the SDK, and I saw someone suggest that turning on 2FA would fix it. But then the 2FA enabling process would not fully go through and I never was able to actually enter my code into the VRC acc settings.

Fast forward to today, I'm trying to log in to my account and 2FA is on even though it wasn't for multiple days after my failed attempts to enable it. I'm now entirely locked out, since I deleted it from my authenticator under the (for the time correct) assumption that it wasn't working, and I never got recovery codes either, because, again, I never was able to fully get through the 2FA setup process at the time. I keep getting email 2FA codes, but they don't work either. Am I just permanently locked out of my VRC account now?

I'm just asking around to see if anyone else has ran into this kind of issue and if they were able to get it resolved.

This is NOT a user thing since I was using my account a bunch without ever needing 2FA after it just completely failed to verify when I was trying to add it, only for it to reenable out of nowhere recently. it's also not email verification because I still get those emails and they do nothing

basically, attempted to add 2fa to account > failed for reasons on their end > used vrchat without issue for a few weeks after the fact > locked out of account as of today

i want to add that i already reached out to support and obviously i expect them to be able to help better, but im still curious if anyone else has had this specifically happen to them and what happened to get it fixed
