How can we have war and traveling around the map if we have no bridges, we need them to unite the lands of middle land.

yeah the boat travel is really buggy

They could just make it so that the bridges have a max length of 5, so that a bridge between continents would be impossible.

middle land is a play on middle earth, I'm guessing you've never played death stranding if you don't know how important bridges are. I'm talking about short bridge across rivers to make maps more diverse, with smaller rivers it makes boats unfeasible and every civilization that has existed has come up with forms of bridges it's not unreasonable of a request. also it could be player build like a blessing, magic, or just a build here vision, pick your fancy.
