Should They Have Added Stuff From Opposing Force?

So, do you guys think the devs should have added Opposing Force's weapons and enemies into Black Mesa?

How about bullet-time and dual wielding too? Ugh...

Calm down, it was a serious question I asked. Black Mesa is a remake of HL1, so having Opposing Force items wouldn't be a bad thing.

Gearbox aint having none of it, so no, we won't have anything from the expansion packs, sadly.

This does not make sense. It rebuilds Half-Life, which did not have any of Opposing Force's content.

It would be awful and just pure fanwank. The only additions that would make any sense at all are the M249, the sniper rifle and male Blackops.

No, I don't. This is Half-Life. Not, Half-Life: Opposing Force.

*edit* Nor is it Sven CoOp.

I would instead suggest keeping your eyes open on Operation Black Mesa & Guard Duty by Tripmine Studios (Basically a "Black Mesa to Opposing Force & Blue Shift" project that's been in the works for a very long time):

Who knows? Perhaps once it releases, keen modders might be able to port their arsenal into Black Mesa as some have managed to do so for the currently-available weapon animations from Black Mesa: Blue Shift mod (Although porting animations, models & textures from a mod back into the base-game is a much more straightforward process than porting one game's arsenal into another).
