I find that Brawlhalla deserves a very average rating (8 - 10/20) for several points which I will explain.


Firstly, this game suffers, unfortunately and logically, from a comparison with Smash Bros, which, we have to admit, is a game that surpasses Brawlhalla by far (Rich gameplay with each character having a different way of playing, face all types of players, tryharders; chill players, etc ...).

Second, the problems of smurfing, so I immediately stop the big balls, if there is indeed smurf and we meet more than we imagine. Smurfs are a real plague in Brawlhalla, they ruin part of the game. Unfortunately, it's "normal" to see smurfs. Because self they are diamonds and more self they are dummies who have a lot of ego and who feel annoyed every time they lose, and this problem of smurfing bridges the gap with the third point.

Third, as said before, the problem with this game in general is that it is thought of as a "competitive game" and not a "party game" like Smash Bros. As a result, only the most determined players who want to tryharder are present, we are not going to lie by saying that Brawlhalla has very few fun sub-modes, and again the fun modes are very boring quickly. The basic mode ("stock") unfortunately remains the only good option, even if with the mode "Street Fighters", it starts to improve.
This game is made to be tryhard and like all games, especially a competitive game like this, there are smurfs. BMG does not seem to really intend to do so.

Fifth, the characters are all the same, there are very few changes, it's a direction like any other, which I personally do not agree with but I grant that this point is very very very subjective.

In the end, what is good left?
As I have said throughout this post, this game is made for the sweatiest among us (without wanting to offend) and is great for those looking for a game in which to push our limits.
But so take into account what the previous points.
The game is cool with friends because all games in general are cool with friends.
A generally good connection to the server, no lag.
This game is not made for casuals because this game is a "competitive-like" and not a "party-game like".

Try it out and try to be the best or Have fun every once in a while with friends.
