Please add different difficulties

I would love to replay this game on harder setting. Is there any plan to add harder difficulties??

I´m actually holding off playing this in hope of a difficulty patch/mod, played a few hours but I felt like I was spoiling the experience with it being so easy. So I very much second this, I´m gonna hold of 6 months or something in hope of some difficulty adjustments.

This is the main thing that I am waiting for in the new update, as well as the option to disable grenade pointers and enemy tags, it would also be great if the mines did not squeak.

Go play it. This game is amazing. Don't lose it.
You can replay it again if they ever add different difficulties

I like the game however I feel it was rushed out for a 2021 release. Some things just feel like they could have been fleshed out more.

The pitch that I heard the game under was Dishonored meats hitman and dark souls.
Which kind of works. You get a disguise like mechanic like Hitman has as Juliana, powers from Dishonored and the recovery system from Dark Souls.

Though I had expected a more realistic system of time passing (unless the game boots you out of an area after 4 hours, I've not tried) and a mechanic where bodies would need to be hidden. Or at least kill objectives which are only there for a certain amount of time because characters move away. Like in Hitman, I believe Hitman 2 even had a mission where you'd complete the mission by doing nothing as every target got killed/killed another target.

It's good, but definitely not deserving of that 10/10 IGN gave it. I take 10/10 to mean that a game is perfect just like a 100% score on an exam but IGN gonna IGN.

It was either this or back 4 blood for me, I feel I chose the better one.

even if you make the difficulty higher you'll still be able to lure 50+ npc's into a closet and eliminate them all without budging from the same spot because they're so dumb

Increased AI and tactics.
Though I assume the AI is basically a take on Dishonored, only difference is you are extremely well armed. In Dishonored you were actively encouraged not to kill (for the good ending) and to not leave a trace (as bodies didn't vanish), enemies on a higher difficulty would need to have a higher weapons proficiency as well as the ability to reset hacked cameras and equipment and deploy the suitcase equivalent of the music boxes from dishonored so you couldn't use your powers.

its just the way they're designed, you alert one and they all come rushing, all you have to do is hide behind a door and they all come running in

I seriously doubt they'll ever change it, a lot of games nowadays have really dumb npc's, which is weird because there were better ones on N64

As a matter of fact I have to say even though bodies disappear as they die, but they leave a trace anyway.

There's a upgrade for "invisible slab" that you can kill enemies while invisible and leave no trace

They leave a trace for a short period of time, not unlike MGS on the PlayStation 1 where bodies would sit for a while then blink out of existence.
It might be done for network reasons, balancing reasons or performance reasons but its much easier to leave a pile of magical dust than an entire body.
As the loop resets every night I would expect bodies to vanish every night. You could argue that people are somehow special due to consciousness but a dead body is just meat and bones. The consciousness could be teleported but the body remains.
Feels a bit half-assed and I can understand that as 2021 was a bad year for games due to devs working at home the entire duration of development.

In my opinion, in order to eliminate this exploit, developers do not need to add anything to AI algorithms, it is enough to reduce the time intervals before the action begins in battle so that enemies react much faster to the detected player and are more dynamic in battle. And if their HP also increases and their hearing and accuracy improve, then this will make the gameplay much more intense. They can make an arbitrarily difficult game without improving the AI.

I like your thinking, simply buff everything which is a probably a fixed integer rather than changing patrol routes and so on. Hearing, sight range, 'body' (the sort of ectoplasm they leave) duration and everything that would maybe take 2-3 hours of work for one (skilled) guy. A good way to finesse things.
Maybe also decrease starting HP but give colt an 'adrenaline boost' when an online Juliana comes into the game which gives a bit of extra health to balance things out. Though colt seems OP compared to Jules anyway.
Things like reload speed, weapon jamming tenancy, hacking speed and power usage could also be used up more quickly by colt too.

Extra hard could tweak these values further and lower reprise by one life.

Then there could be ironman mode where you only get one shot at a day.

All easy changes compared to rewriting patrol paths and so on.

Yes, almost all of these are elementary things that could be changed yourself if the game was created, for example, on CryEngine. I wonder why the developers decided not to add difficulty settings to the game, in my opinion, this is a mandatory thing in action games with NPCs, and the lack of saves is not an excuse for low difficulty, since even without saves, with similar exploits, the action requires almost no effort, and the second main exploit that infuriated me back in Dishonored is places inaccessible to enemies, combined with regeneration, this creates a 100% winning situation.

Agreed, we need difficulty settings. I've only found certain missions difficult (afternoon delight for example) because you need to be extremely quick when executing your plan and I've not seen a usual Arkane Studios way around this specific mission where you can slow things down and do it in the way you would play dishonored (a less run & gun way), sadly it seems that going loud is the de-facto quickest and best way to complete things at the moment.
I ran into trouble trying to storm the library but I was still able to walk out alive.

I liked Dishonored because you didn't even have to kill your targets, you were given different ways of 'eliminating' them in a way that could be said to surpass Hitman (though Hitman by definition requires dead targets, not just ones beaten by other means) the flow of gameplay feels fairly linear and you don't have much of a way to explore alternate paths unless you want to lose out on residium and the finesse alternate path with afternoon delight seems to make you lose residium for a job well done.

Some features seem exceptionally half baked such as "absorb this chair/jerrycan/far tyre for residium rather than "Gain res for playing well"

I can empathise with the devs, most probably couldn't come in to their office to do their work so corners were cut, however the review sites giving 10/10 reviews are simply shilling for games at this point.

I always liked Arkane giving a player a choice on how they wanted to play. It gave games replayability. Giving one "best strat" kind of ruins this.

As for the lack of saves, I'm 95% certain this is for multilayer support. Which doesn't really work on PC currently.
There could even be a multi colt multi Juliana system because time loop. But that was probably cut too.

So instead of asking for cut stuff back, a system where you can set things up the way out want seems best.

I belong to a sect of believers in Arkane, but even if they don't change anything in the gameplay of DEATHLOOP, it's still a masterpiece game for me, absolutely not inferior to their previous creations, especially, according to some articles, DEATHLOOP is a spin-off of Dishonored, which means the series is alive, and there is a chance to see futuristic Dishonored, maybe even in the open world. Anyway, as long as Arkane's creations cause such aesthetic pleasure, I can forgive them any shortcomings.
