Not sure if Anyone has noticed yet but, Malenia Got hard Nerf to the ground.
Her speed and aggro has drop drastically.
When she did her Flowing River Move it was pretty untraceable and the window was very small but its not very forgiving.
Personally Im not a fan of nerfs to boss's but if I was going to come up for a few reason for it...
*DLC ( DLC might not have compared to her challenge )
* Alot of Crying from the community. which I'd rather not it be the case.
Either way I hope It gets change like when the reverted Radahn.

yeah they did the same to radahn at the beginning when the game went out, they shouldve ignored all the people that cry about it, its supposed to be hard yet they remove one hard fight after the next.

I wouldn’t mind the malenia rebuff if they rebuffed radahn since her fight still feels difficulut and radagons feels like a boxing match with a disabled person.

Yeah this is very sad. They should buff Malenia, not nerf.

Funny you say that, because Waterfowl Dance is the only "hard" thing about her. Remove WD, and she becomes one of the easiest bosses in the game, nerfs or not.

nerf again? so many weapons can defeat her easily in 1.09.1, Buff her PLZ.

That's sad. we will see easy mode option in the setting soon.

When summoned 99% of players (either hosts or other summons) die only when they are targeted by waterfowl, everything else is pretty intuitive to dodge, as she doesn't even delay her attacks like certain other bosses

She is a terrible boss that you easily can beat by just hit and run. She has input reading and various too fast combos that are just impossible to propperly avoid. I tried to play her sekiro style, staying in her face and dealing with all her moves. Almost cost me my sanity.

If you make it a hit and run fight its gets really easy. use Bloodhound step for her dance and you are fine.

And the dance is unreasonable to avoid without the Bloodhound step. You can outspace it, which is stupid and wont always work because she can use it in an instant.

So if they nreved that, i think its okay. Some moves in games are just broken. Her dance is one.

I'm no big fan of nerfs but she was just a badly design boss in the first place.

I’m really hoping that the dlc happens within miquellas dream where we fight a prime radahn, placidusax, and yes, malenia. That would be fantastic and beating all of them and waking up miquella to get his shard would be fantastic.

Consider the first post the respectable opinion of the OP regarding Malenia, nobody has nerfed anything.

WFD isn't the problem with her, her problem is that she can cancel being staggered and how half her attacks have hyperarmor.

I do agree that she would become a lot less difficult if she didn't have Waterfowl Dance, but that certainly and quite objectively wouldn't make her one of the easiest bosses in the game by a long stretch.
