I often don't receive any runes when killing an enemy of any kind. It seems to be rather random if I get the runes or not. It's a rather game breaking bug. Please help.

try verifying game files and rebooting, never heard of that glitch before, that's rough

I've verified the game files. Rebooting several times. Never play with the steam cloud.

It seems to happen when playing with a spear or rapier type weapon and poking from behind a shield. Though I don't really have enough data to confirm that is the case or just my imagination.

It's rather game breaking, as thinking about all those thousands of runes i'm missing out on while playing just makes me want to close the game.
