Everything but fighting other players is great. Sadly the community is a toxic meta cesspool of hot ♥♥♥♥ just like LoL. Idk why anyone would wanna fight the same meta builds every. single. time.

Why think up and use your own build when you can just use <insert Youtuber>'s meta build?

Whenever I PVP I just use whatever. Winning with skill is more fun. Sadly, it seems that for a number of folks, winning is the only thing that matters, even if it hinges upon using a min/maxed spam build. (Though it's great to kill these guys because you know they're smashing their keyboard)

Well, I play League of Legends ranked. So I don't really agree with the comparison. While you can play against bots in that game, it's mostly about the pvp almost exclusively. Whereas Elden Ring might be best enjoyed alone.

The thing I don't like about ER PvP when I was helping a new player. Is the amount of times the host and invader can heal. I feel like an invader should come in with full health. And only get to use a flask once or twice. Then balance how many heals the host should have with that.

And that the invader runs into PvE mobs to help them. Though it was really funny when one of them got killed by one of the enemies lol.

So I just play solo.

Honestly at this point the best thing you can do is use the seamless co-op mod and smile as you enjoy playing PVE with friends.
