What is more tough than Malenia? Malenia at a NG+ scaling.

I reached Journey 4 and it was about time that I took care of that great boss all by myself.
No co-op, no summon, no parry, no spells. Only a pure clash of steel.

My setup:
Blue Cloth set with prophet blindfold. This is to cosplay the Blue Dancer.
Crimson Seed, Green Turtle, Dragoncrest Greatshield (With boiled crab on top), Shard of Alexander.

I went with powerstance Halberds. Pair of my favorite, the Vulgar Militia Saw.
One was frost with Giant Hunt (to sent her flying for more free hits.)
Other was poison with Blood Tax (It is very hard to apply poison to her, but it also increased the inherent bleed value of that weapon. The small recovery was also welcome.)

Count about 50 death, mostly to Waterfowl Dance, to earn a victory that feel absolutely great.

Is it abnormal that I find Morgott more challenging than Malenia?

Both fight absolutely rock, but Morgot did not left me dead with a ton more flask to drink. Malenia goes well when you keep the tempo, but one error and is over. Her grab 1-shot my 70 Vigor too...

I am above Lvl.400 in this Journey 6. Not like Malenia cared, 2 to 3 hits is all you can afford. On my victory attempt, I did a flawless 1st phase. That felt good.

Put a Blue Dancer cosplay once again, swapped the Green Turtle for Blood Exultation in the Talisman.

For Weapons, I tried out Greatsword this time around. Banished Knight, cold, with Piercing Fang. Then a Blood Claymore with Poison Mist.

I counted my death this time around. 28 try, with 9 Phase 2 only. I also needed a bit of help, found a Spirit Ash that doesn't simply give her access to more healing. Perfurmer Tricia keep their distance and put a bubble on you. Made the difference to surive the first volley of Waterfowl Dance.

Maliketh was always the hardest boss in the game for me

. . . sorry but her grab dont 1shot my 40VIG at NG+ (tho I have 99 END and some heavy defenses).

Malekith. He objectively does more damage then malenia overall, is faster, has more Ariel attacks, and his debuff lowers your total bigot and drains your health. This isn’t even mentioning how hard he is to hit.

If malekith had 2 separate healthbars like malenia does, he would be the hardest boss easily. ESPECIALLY on journeys 6 thru 8
