Osmium replied to 20 hours in paris May 21, 2023 @ 8:42:05 pm PDTI did the exact same thing. I'd spend over a week on each level until I was able to suit only silent assassin without getting any outside hints. I remember spending a long time on Paris in particular since it was my introduction to the game mechanics. I started over a year ago and I'm only halfway through the Hitman 3 levels now. I haven't done 100% of all the challenges in each level, but I've done full mastery and all of the item unlocks. It's fun to savor the experience rather than rush through to the next map.

TWITCH! replied to 20 hours in paris May 21, 2023 @ 9:16:32 pm PDTReally? Hitman 3 was your introduction to the games mechanics? I'm not putting ♥♥♥♥ on you it's just that isn't a particularly common thing to hear... It's making me feel really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OLD actually... Cause apparently I am these days. I remember spending a long time on Paris in particular since it was my introduction to the game mechanics.

dbond1 replied to 20 hours in paris May 22, 2023 @ 7:04:45 am PDTI did nearly the same thing too. Playing through the ICA facility showed me how intrinsic replays are to the whole vibe. H2 was my first title in the trilogy. And so I played Paris over and over again.
It's a fantastic Hitman level in its own right, and at this stage I was interested in poking the systems to see how they react. Mission stories, check. Location mastery. I see. Agency pickups, start locations, disguises? Weapon and tool unlocks.
Paris was easily the first level I maxed mastery. The first time I played it took an hour and 20 minutes. The tenth time took about four minutes. Playing through Paris over and over was a perfect primer for me, to acclimate to the systems and requirements. To learn the Hitman mojo. Good times.
