Things i dont like about freelance

1. Merces becomes useless once you have all of the weapons & tools. A some sort of money hole would be nice.

2. Guards can see through some walls & floors.
Recently lost a run when a lookout managed to see a body in the basement of the neighbouring house. The only npc that could have seen the body was the plumber which I took out before I started dragging the assassins there.

3. Showdowns are just annoying with having to stalk your targets before taking them out. Started skipping the stalking part & just kill 1 of them, grab their phone, invite suspects to your murderhole, repeat from step 1 till completed.

4. In the safe house you can lock yourself out of pressing inputs if you try to redecorate certain pieces from the wrong angle. The kitchen area for example.
Also once you unlock the gun powder in the garrage you can kill yourself in the safe house by shooting it when standing close to it. This will bug out the game since normally death would teleport you to your safe house, but since you're already there you'll just lay there dead until you get bored of looking at your corpse & quit to menu.

5. Sometimes the game just wont load the items you brought with you forcing you to either lose the item or "ctrl alt delete" & try again. Sometimes game also likes to eat your items you placed on the ground, lost a shotgun to this.
Also if you enter a closet while carrying a suitcase while having a sawed off shotgun in your pocket & taking out the shotgun you'll drop the suitcase inside the closet making it very difficult to pick up.

6. No witnesses task is a stupid idea when the game doesnt tell you who they are. This comboed with the see through walls makes for a guranteed failed task.

7. No bodies found task forces you to actually hide the bodies even when you make the deaths look like accidents via burning, poison or falling.

Other than that the modes been kinda fun.

Incorrect. The No Bodies Found task only requires that no bodies be found. The Hide Target Bodies task requires you to hide the bodies of your targets (and fails if any of them are found). It does not fail if any other bodies are found (and often a successful completion of the task involves a LOT of bodies found... just not those of the target specifically).

There's a mod on nexus that fixes it, called Rebound Redecoration[www.nexusmods.com]
the fix it does simply changes the redecorate key from interact to the melee key (as the melee key can't be used in the safe house)

1st off, the gunpowder has been that way (explodes if shot) since it was added in Hitman 1 in 2016.
2nd, the gunpowder can be used once you reach level 64 mastery, as it unlocks an explosive workbench in the garage that lets you craft a makeshift explosive using the fuse cell and gunpowder found in the garage.

Even better is the Makeshift Explosive has 0 gear weight.

2 additional things about the makeshift explosive: cannot be used to knock anyone out (no lock-on), and once it's out in the open, npcs will ignore it (not counting any sound it makes if tossed)

i knew about this alrdy. My gripe with this is that if you kill yourself in the safe house you'll get stuck staring at your own dead body.

Prob wont be using this as I prefer the pale duck over any ol' explosive.

I know its working as intended, but im too customed to the hitman mentality of "accident = body hidden"

then why would you shoot it? Besides, you aren't supposed to be able to shoot anything in the safehouse, unless you are at the target range.

was bored & wanted to see what would happen if i died at the safe house. would i fail the current mission or would i just be sent back to the medical ward.

also you can fire your guns pretty much anywhere in the safe house, you just can't aim with them. there's only hip firing allowed in 47's house.

i recommend spending it when you have it.
since the vendors only sell items you dont have i recommend buying everything you can.
at the beginning you'll just get trash you most likely will never use, but eventually the game will be forced to hand over rarer items much more often.

I have a few complaints. One that comes to mind immediately is I wish all the free items at the Safehouse came back with you if you don't use them. It's annoying having to grab them everytime.

Also, it'd be nice if the upstairs secret passage stayed open. I get why it doesn't, but it would be nice if it did.

You can get more than 1 of the free items if you make it, start the mission, alt-F4 out of the mission, then make it again. This also applies to the grapevine. Chances are if they make it so you come back with the free item, like every item you can pick up at the safe house, you would be locked into only able to carry 1 of each of em.

I'm not sure what upstairs secret passage you are talking about. If it's the one leading to the bedroom, it stayed open for me.

I'm not sure what upstairs secret passage you are talking about. If it's the one leading to the bedroom, it stayed open for me.

This mode is a mess, good idea and I'm glad it is released, but it needs alot of adjustments which IOI will never do, because they now have a different game/moneymaker to focus on.

Showdowns becoming really annoying after like 5 to 10 times. But hey, we added an evil duck for you to unlock, just do this thing 500 (!) times, we also have a dog thing, but this is 100 (!!!) campaigns(4 showdowns each), which is insane grind, it only justifiable for a live game, with constant content additions and gameplay iprovements, which seems will never happen, but they just left it as it is, because don't care. It could've been at least somewhat better if campaings were shorter, 18 missions takes too much time. And that is why most people refuse to lose fair and alt+f4, it just too much time spent and then you just restart your whole session because of some bug or target escaping in showdown or lookout saw something.

Identifying target becomes super boring routine which ruins pace once you are familiar/fast enough with regular syndicate members, like you are literally just watching npcs walking until they show their tells, this is even beyond Kojima level of gameplay, phones doesn't help that much, but it is a shortcut. Thanks to speedrunners, now I know that you can just make panic in Mendoza and snipe target or all suspects with minimum troubles.

And about merces, it is useless pretty fast, but more importantly sellers become really useless, because they do not sell freelancer tools which you already have, these tools are in your safehouse and you can't take them with you, because limit, so seller just sells nothing once you have all, not even banana or scissors.

Accidents don't hide bodies (unless you're like, pushing someone into a pit or body of water or something). Found bodies don't break SA under any of the following conditions:
- The body is a dead target killed by an accident
- The body is a dead target killed by poison
- The body is an unconscious target OR non-target sedated with a dart gun
- The body is an unconscious non-target who slipped on a banana peel or grape vine

The body still counts as found. You will still fail No Bodies Found or the Hide Target Bodies (if the body is a target's body) objectives even if one of the above is true just the same way you can still fail Perfect Shooter or Doors Stay Locked without breaking Silent Assassin.

??? what ??? roadmap features 3 updates for the game, which on IOs website it is stated they will contain many QOL, bug fixes, tweaks and additions for freelancer. the first update is coming in 10 days.
