Hy guys, i have just dowload the game, i click to play, but the game dont run...
my spec is:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz 3.01 GHz
8,00 GB ram
Graphic card: gtx 1080 8 gb
windows 10

I have just installed last driver, cc ++ studio, e direct x 12.
i have run the game with administartor, but the game dont start
i have disabilited the antivirus, but the game dont start
(i have just played 1 week ago a Jedi fallen order with no problem)

Where is the problem?

yes i check the file in steam.. its ok

I try all of the option in the link.. but dont work.
Maybe the problem is my old CPU? intel 2 quad Q9650? (but in youtube i've see the game with this CPU run)

Anyway, i disintalled the game, and now i download again...

wtf you want to run this game with a cpu from 2008 ?
The GPU should be ok but that cpu is bad and 8GB RAM is not enough

Where did you see someone running it on that cpu ?

And there is a big difference between games dev for PC and games ported to PC

the problem is the SSE 4.2 instruction of cpu...

good for you but your cpu may lack components that are needed especially in ported games from console to PC

What other games you can play has nothing to do with it, every game has different system requirements. That's why every game has both Minimum and Recommended System Requirements on the Store Page. Everyone is supposed to read those and compare with their own systems to ensure their system is capable of running the game. But so many simply never bother to check and just buy a game expecting it to work because "I can play all these other games just fine" while ignoring the fact that every single game has different system requirements!

The Minimum System Requirements for HZD are:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 64-bits
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K@3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300@3.5GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 100 GB available space

If any part of your system falls below any of those specs then you're going to have problems. In this case it's your Core2 Quad that simply isn't good enough, plus you're also at the minimum memory requirement.

It's... theoretically playable on such old hardware, but I really wouldn't try it without bumping the RAM up to 16 GB first.

the problem we know is a CPU... (but i would like to try the game anyway :D)
They put a block on the cpu...(sse 4.2) and this specification is not write..
The performance of Q9650 is very good, i run f! 2018 (2k detail medium 60 fps) and f1 2022 (in 2k dettail medium with 40 fps, it's crazy for this CPU :)

Anyway in October 2023 i just wanna change the PC ;)
cpu: 7800 x3d
ram: 32gb ram ddr5
GPU: gtx 1080 to start, then upgrade to 7900xt

Is enough for 2k detail epic? :D

personally i would go for the 7700X as it has a better boost
i got a 9 5900x for 150€ used and it rocks lol

waiting to get a better gpu ( i have the first generation RTX2080) and it struggles sometimes
