Samarta Myers House

I didn't realize that burying the coffin would turn off the spooky effects and did it before experiencing anything. :( Is there any way to turn them back on :fpp:

Exiting without saving I think may be the only way.

When you purchase the house again, you'll have the option to experience all the spooky effects. I'm not sure that there is anything that you can do at this point for the one that you have, so you may just have to be patient until you can buy it again.

How can you buy a house a second time?

Once you've completed all of the jobs and then purchased and sold each of the houses in the game, then you can purchase each house as many times as you'd like. This applies to the base game as well as all dlcs.

Wow, I don't know if I'll ever do that.

Wow, sounds like a lot of time. I don't know if I'll ever do that.

It goes by quickly and it really isn't all that many houses. I don't know the number of houses per game/dlc, but they tend to coincide with the number of jobs. Once you complete that job, then the house that you just did the job on becomes available to purchase once for you to flip however you want and then sell it. If I had to guess, I'd say off-hand that the base game has about 15 houses. I don't think the dlcs have quite as many as the base game, but that makes sense. Anyway, it goes pretty quickly.

I think its 56 houses/apartments with basegame and all dlc's (both paid and free). Most of the houses from the email jobs are not available, but basegame has similar houses.

I flipped it straight away as I got in the house and it was pitch black. Switched the light on and but it was flickering. So I thought I couldn't be bothered putting in time and money to clean it and refurbish it, so I flipped it not long after I entered the house.

It's easy enough if you're not trying to make tons of money. Buy a house, clean it, repair what needs repairing, sell it. Don't worry about deco or grass or anything. Takes an average of 10 mins per house, so a little over an hour to do the whole thing.

Then you can go back and buy what you want.

I've spent 642 hours playing this game. lol At first I wanted to make tons of money, now I just enjoy decorating. Then add all of the workshop mods wonderful people have made and I will probably play this forever. I just did her house as a Witch's house. The possibilities are endless. :)
