hello i've just purchased houseflipper on steam and I cannot seem to get it running due to the error above, would like any suggestions have been looking forward to playing on steam instead of ps4 and am really disspointed

Have you already tried the default 'game is not running'-options? like:

- Restart Steam
- Restart PC
- Update your graphics drivers (this one especially seems to fix a lot of House Flipper starting issues)
- check the game files for errors (From the 'Library' section, right-click on the game and select 'Properties' from the menu. - Select the 'Local Files' tab and click the 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button. - Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.)

Thank you so much for your advice I restarted steam and my pc and this worked :-)

You're welcome ^^ As a general rule, those 4 things are often the solution if a steam game won't run, so if you ever run into a similar problem, try this steps...they save a lot of headaches xD
