I get disappointed opening a cave mine to find a silica deep mine in it... :(

Shouldn't some deep mines deposits stay out of the caves?

After today's session I felt that silica deep mines should be only found outdoors on the field.

They are random and thanks for that. The disappointment finding a silica in a cave can be reversed after finding gold on the surface. I personally hate cave deep veins just because I don't like dealing with the worms every time I want to collect the stuff.

There are deep nodes in and out of the caves. And if you want to build a lot of concrete buildings you will be glad about that silica node, trust me.

I think the deep ore mines are too slow, but other than that the basic idea works great.

Yes deep mine is way to slow is faster to use Thrumper to refresh all nodes

Silica is an OUTDOOR mineral...NOT indoors! Certain Ores are indoor or outdoor! some are both...COAL for instance...in both caves & outside! but I've NEVER seen silica in a cave!

When I discovered that silica deep mine I was "kicking rocks" . . .

I would have rather discovered a deep "Iron" or "Copper" mine for the initial workshop.

Agree, but they have to increase the extraction rate. I'd rather farm for an hour with a buffalo.

Agreed. Way too slow to be useful in missions.
