for the people who r reading this. i was really bummed out when i found out there was no character customize option so i tried to mod it and now my game wont start. what do i do?

The script hook isn't updated for the latest version of the game. You either need to "sail the seven seas" for the old version or do some steam console shenanigans

Considering this game's reputation for crashes to desktop and other instabilities, I would caution anyone against modding this title.
