Red ending. It's Destroy with a live Shepard.
According to infographics from Bioware, it is clear that most players like this ending.

Red ending/destroy shows Shepard taking a breath at the end. Will always be the only "choice" worth making out of the three. Especially since it was your objective from the beginning.

I prefer the synthesis ending. Shepard's sacrifice actually means something. The breath ending takes away the stakes and kills Edi and the geth (you literally commit genocide with this choice). I feel like it's only popular because players are stubborn and are unwilling to let go of their character. The control ending is basically a curse placed upon Shepard. And synthesis is the only ending that allows everyone (aside from Shepard) to live freely, even the reaper forces.

The strawberry ending.

I have a confession: I have never chosen any ending other than red.

Watching the others on YouTube is good enough for me. Green ending just screams "hey, why didn't the Reapers just try this already during one of the cycles" and the red ending feels like the closest I can come to rejecting the lazy pseudo-philosophical crap the writers came up with for a happy ending via the other 2. I'll never stop wondering who actually greenlit tha.....

And here we go again.

The intelligence tells you that they have tried synthesis before, but it never worked because organics weren't ready. "It can't be forced." Shepard is the one who makes it possible.

Because Shepherd is just that amazing.

I missed this - likely because when I get to the point I put my fingers in my ears and go "La La La Red" and pretend this section of/choice in the game doesn't exist.

Because if you think about this for more than a few seconds, it's a hopelessly asinine reason for a supposedly enlightened race, since they perpetually reset the clock to ensure organics are never "ready."

It's basically a really, really amateurish attempt to band-aid in Arthur C. Clark's monolith from 2xxx-3xxx saga, and even he decided the last piece (3001) that essentially created this sort of dilemma was bad enough to remove from his own canon.

ME is definitely more about the journey than the conclusion.

Control the reapers, the blueberry flavored one

You can rebuild all the damage done, the synthetics will live (shepard just have to free them) and the Reapers will just serve as protector mechs for the galaxy

Destroy is shown in the trailer for the new ME. The trailer shows the destroyed Relay. This Relay is not repaired. In Synthesis and Control, Reapers repair all Relays

Making the story with the reapers "avaliable" to be used would be really hard, they would be the perfect literal "Deus Ex Machina" and ruin any storyline
F for the Geth and EDI

Blue, dont know why but i always felt it more compelling to what i play my Shepard play as - The one who fullfills the duty of a Soldier while still being a human with Emotions and the Will to make a better tomorrow for everyone.

Maybe its just "too good to be true" but i played in all these years all kinds of stuff in the ME Trilogy. I played the "mixed" one staying friendly to Allies, merciless to Enemies. I was true Renegade who didnt give a single S*it except for my Mission but i still feel Paragon is the way to go for me.

There is something admiring that even though all races are different, have different religions, viewpoints in how to handle things, their culture etc. that they CAN work together instead of bashing their heads in. That goes for organics as well as for synthetics. And if i must sacrifice my Shepard to act as the defender of the galaxy to protect these sometimes "dumb aliens" then so be it.
