As the title says, and I'm posting this late on May 1st, 2023, I STILL cannot unlock the achievements I have left for this game. I have tried pretty much all of the solutions that were mentioned before (such as going through the backwater method of uninstalling the EA App and reinstalling Origin, etc.) However, NONE of these have worked for me, and I'm getting a bit concerned. I'm not opposed to starting a new play through, but if the achievements show as "unlocked" on this current play through, will they still be "unlocked" in the next play through? The EA App doesn't show me as having them already, so I have some hope that a new play through might do the trick, but has anyone else tried this, or found another way around it? Please help.

Man I'm in the same boat I've done priority Tuchanka 3 times trying to get lost city achievement to pop , nothing.... ruined my 3 game insanity run i just got back into.

@Kenpachi219 Damn, sorry to hear that. I (mercifully) completed the Insanity run for this a while ago, and was just coming back for my yearly run / to mop up the remaining achievements.

I don't understand how this is STILL an issue, when people have been posting about this for OVER HALF A YEAR NOW!

Seriously, I've found posts dating back almost a full year at this point...

All the ME2 achievements are perma locked for me still, they are never going to fix it

glad i didnt actually purchase LE and just paid for EA play to finish the games i want to, EA wont be getting any more money from me if they cant even fix achievements for popular games.

So did someone write to ea support about the achevmnet problem?

Hey, to anyone who is still reading this thread, and stuck, I think I might have found a work around. I still don't know if this is a full term solution, nor do I know how it will work on achievements like the "Insanity III" or "Paramour III" (long term; needs to be all-three games long achievements). However, I have since been able to get two achievements, and I will be testing the Paramour III achievement by this weekend.

Anyway, the solution I was told to try comes from a user on answers.ea.com, by the name of LiannaDrake. The solution utilized was to go ahead and install the blasted EA app, but after doing so, there are two keep steps to take.

1) Make sure that, whenever you are playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, you ALWAYS have the EA App set to "Offline Mode." The only game I am planning on using the EA App for in the near future is ME:LE, so this is easy enough.

2) Go into your C:Drive, then look up Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME2. Once there, you should see a file by the name of "GamerProfile." Copy this, and then create another folder just called something like "GamerProfile Backup," then paste that copied file inside the folder. Afterwards, delete the original copy of "GamerProfile."

From here, provided you are still in Offline-Mode, you should be able to start getting achievements again. NOTE: Again, as I stated above, I do not know how this will work for some of the longer term achievements, but seeing as I have been able to FINALLY start to get them unlocked again, this does seem to be promising. Also, I doubt anyone here cares, but this will possibly require you to "re-unlock the achievements" in the EA App. Not that I believe anyone here really cares about that, but just making sure all the information that I have is out there.
