In the challenges there is a task to create "Tough Bandit Gear". It says that once you have it "then you won't be bothered by the heat".

I understood this to mean that you could use it in the desert with no ice cart, but it does not seem to do this.

Does anyone know if this armor is supposed to give complete heat protection? There are similar challenges that say the same thing for cold and miasma.

I don't think there are any armors that protect you 100% .If you look at the stats/info of each particular armor piece, it will tell you what percentage of protection it will have for heat,cold, and miasma. IMO Meteoric heavy armor is the best all round protection for each zone. That plus carrying a few porridge meals is more than enough to keep you cool. You can also sit next to the walls of another active guild for a few minutes to bring that temp down. Chances are they have a running ice container inside.

Yes, I have never heard of 100% protection but the description was a bit misleading. It would be great to not have to have the ice cart all the time! :)

I dont know if it will be great. anyway you go in the desert for brimston kaolin clay and black iron unless you go to that stronghold which maybe there will be such usedull this 100% armor
