Hi !

I used to play Phasmophobia in solo and everything was going well ( the game ). I have not encountered any bugs or things that are not intended by the developers.
But yesterday for the first time I went online, it was fun in the beginning, but I've played a few games where the ghost behave like it shouldn't.


Like a Oni who during a hunt suddenly start running extremely fast for two seconds before
instantly slow down, then run again at high speed for another couple of seconds to slow down to its base speed.
Or a Twin that while doing the ghost interaction where he brock the light, was sliding around the map ( campement ) really quick and was doing nothing else, instead of just popping and standing still while doing the event. Then he stops and broke the light.

All this bug are weird and didn't feel accidentaly. So I was thinking if in online, player could change few things of the ghost and make him be bug or is it just RNG thing.


I won't blame nobody if what I've seen is or isn't a player that use something.
I just wanna know, to not be fooled next time it happen to me.

Sounds like a cheater.

First one could be
A: Ghost was chaicing someone cause of that he sped up.
B: Host was cheater and was playing as ghost using sprint.

Second one
A: Some never seen bug in my 500 hours
B: Host cheater played as ghost or forced ghost be visible during the event.

In both cases would say that host was cheating most likely.

Do you know if we get banned or something like that if we leave a game in the middle of it ?

No? People tend to crash so much that banning anyone who leaves the midgame will get so much people banned lmao. Once I crashed like 3 games in a row cause Phasma I guess. On top its not competitive and you can even solo the map.

You won't get in trouble for quitting in the middle of the game. If you go into the options there is also a tab for recent players and you can report people if you think they are cheating.

Just report the host ingame. Devs tend to ban cheaters really quick.
