oh yeah also cats can hunt buddy boy, also stealth where as a dog ♥♥♥♥♥♥ barks at a mailman, not a threat. so if you really are going by your argument cats would still survive longer. due to their size and stealth but if theres any consolation mancoons exist witch are basicly a dog but are a cat instead.

Just think about how a lot of cats react when someone they're familiar with try to pick them up, or approach too fast, or step too close while walking, or...

Make a catdog!

Cats would 100% last longer than dogs... they require less food to live, can drink salt water, better at hunting, can climb, better vision, way faster reaction time, can hide and fit through areas easier. Maybe if a dog was specifically trained to survive in an area. Cats can do it on their own, no training needed.

I do not understand your point. No cat is going to let an undead corpse with decaying skin pick them [cat] up. Where as a dog would just bark. Cats could also traverse many objects gracefully compared to dogs.
