I am thinking of re downloading this game as i recently reinstalled fortnite and then realized why i don't play fortnite. However, i am seeing mixed reviews as well as people saying that cheaters are very prevalent. Are people overstating the cheating problem?

dude just play the game if you want, if you are going to cry about cheaters or anything, dont play video games at all and those people that keep saying cheaters cheaters ChEaTeRs are normally some Bronze players that think everybody that you face in a Duel is a cheater, you find cheaters in Ranked, not all games but you do find them

No need to known how many cheater, no need to report or spend time to watch their replay. Just try other game.
3PM game installed------ 5 PM uninstalled and never back! (That guy not me OK)

off i cant say really but in this particular moment there is influx of cheater's atleast in my games and .

It is simple, just try how the game is for you on your own.

Opinions and experience are very different.

Been playing for years, haven't encountered a "cheater" or "hacker" yet, I have encountered plenty of players who are significantly better than me though...

Me and two friends started playing this game recently, about 200 matches now and we have yet to see any obvious cheaters, sometimes when we suspect someone has ESP of some kind after we die we spectate them and find that they get ambushed by a camper, so no they were just good and lucky against us to begin with.

We play FPP duo or FPP 3man squad exclusively, currently we are above 20% winrate in squad FPP in normal since we play F2P we cant play ranked. What we have noticed is that the average player is way better now than several years ago when we first played this game. Back then you could dodge bullets in the open field and not get killed by most people, now if you are away from hard cover you are dead very quickly.

The increase in average skill level makes this game very unforgiving for players who are less skilled in FPS games. However every time I see people complain about cheats it's always in TPP.

My advice is to play in FPP and see if you find cheaters there.

This game is full of cheaters to the point where it will make you question everyone that kills.
That's the sad state of this game.

a lot of people falsely think others are hacking because they don't like to die in the game. well, they have to realize that this is a game where most people die most of the time and that some players are just better or luckier than they were when they died

normaly its okay. Not so much cheater, but after a patch like now. Its full of cheater like hell. If you wanna start pubg just wait 2-3 Weeks. Otherwise you will loose fun really fast

Played 5 games 2 days ago and got 2 ban notifications when I logged on today. Only took till the 2nd game today to run into a blatant hacker. They are in nearly every game you play. Just because you arent smart or honest enough to notice doesnt mean they arent there.
