I have beef cows, and when one gives birth, its like it replaces another adult cow with a calf rather than add a new cow/calf... Any ideas on a fix?

What's your performance like in-game / around your Ranch? Does your game ever suffer with loading things in slowly?
Also are you playing singleplayer or multiplayer?
