So what happens is, I've made a LAN server so I can play with my brother. I join the server and it loads into the game then immediately freezes crashing, then giving me the message Battleye: service is not installed or not running properly Unturned. I've tryed to delete the BE folder and verify game cache, doesn't seem to work. I've also tried re-installing battle eye by going into its folder and nothing seems to happen. Any help?

You can disable BattlEye in the config, it says at the top to change between false and true.

This fixed my problem

anyone knows a fix without disabling it? Everytime i start unturned i have to start the battleye app aswell

If you're running your own LAN or hamachi server, then disabling battle eye for that server will fix the problem (because the people joining would likely be trusted i assume). To disable battleye for the server is as easy as this.

1. Go to the unturned servers folder in this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Unturned\Servers

2. Open the file with your server's name

3. Open "Config.json" with notepad

4. At the very top it should say "BattlEye_Secure true"

5. Change the "true" to false, and save the notepad. Done!

Reset your internet settings, worked for me

I FOUND OUT HOW TO FIX!!!

Step: 1 Go To C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Unturned\BattlEye

Step: 2 Open Install_BattlEye

Step: 3 Join a server and enjoy!

in library-unturned--lunch without BE
when the menu appear exit and lanch normal

I am having this issue. Does anyone have any insight? Launching the Install Battleye file does nothing

If BattleEye is installed, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Unturned and launch Unturned_BE rather than Unturned. It works for me, I think the 2 different launchers are the issue. So Unturned errors out and Unturned_BE works for Multiplayer.
