I never thought i'd ask this, i have a few thousand hours in this game over an old account and this one.... but I'm trying to build a 3rd story on a basic 3x3 base, and the third floor roof just simple wont place. No highlight to place it, nothing. I have 4 pillars there of course, and even put 3 pillars below it on the next floor down. I'll try out my speculation and put another pillar on the bottom floor, see if it's a new weird foundation stability feature idk about.

can i just not build a third story? D:

It's okay – this is a recent-ish change (from last year), from when we simplified how structures work and improved how their handled internally.
