Quest 2 vs vive pro wireless
i've been looking into getting a headset i can use for wireless vr since I dance and i wanna stop breaking my chords. I've already done a fair amount of research into both topics but i was hoping anyone who uses fullbody with either setup could give me some insight of how good the tracking and battery life is because it is a huge price difference between the two options but if the vive pro is just a lot better id rather spend the extra money for a better experience

Quest 2 if you only want to see quest compatible stuff.
Since you are going to be going wireless, it's better to take Vive Pro.
Since Quest 2's wireless mode is janky if you are trying to see everyones avatars.
As far as fullbody tracking goes, they are both pretty darn good but Quest seems to drain much faster than Vive Pro.

Our Narrator replied to Quest 2 vs vive pro wireless January 31, 2022 @ 5:18:40 pm PSTQuest 2 is straight garbage. Most people block quest users on sight. They're a corruption to VRC. Imagine paying $300 just to be tracked by facebook.

Quest 2 is the best wireless AIO headset right now, even I own one and I have vive headsets.. and a pimax. One headset i'd never buy is a crappy INDEX...

You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, Valve may terminate your access to your Account.
^ if caught and or made clear in a comment or message or somewhere that you do and you get reported, you stand a chance of an account termination
There's even a whole section about what i said about giving out your information so yeah..... all companies basically do it... why are you buying games directly on steam then huh bud...

Flame replied to Quest 2 vs vive pro wireless February 1, 2022 @ 8:28:27 am PSTVive Pro with the wireless adapter is imo the best option here. Quest 2 isn't quite on the same tier. Quest is the cheaper option but you pay more for a better wireless experience so it's up to your wallet, you could always return if you're not happy with it.
With the current powerbank im using I get the same battery life from the Pro 2 headset as I do from the 3.0 trackers. (Roughly 7-8 Hours).

1. Check if you have a good 5Ghz WiFi connection
2. Make sure PC is WIRED into the router via Ethernet
3. Get a Quest 2
4. Buy a power bank that supports USB C (Optional)
5. Buy Virtual Desktop via the QUEST store (You can try air-link but It sucks imo)
6. Enjoy great wireless PCVR
