I think if humans could fight also the wars using all kinds of bombs between them it would be a lot more fun.

For that matter there could be much more troop variations and scientific progression, up to and including proper war machines, fortifications, air strikes etc. Elves could spawn dragons, dwarves could get to underground megaworms and make underground tunnels in mountain biomes, orks could domesticate and ride wolves, and probably build some kind of combat blimps. This sandbox has huge potential, but I doubt it will get fully realized.
