Elder Tree's Require 90 woodcutting so you will need to get this 1st, woodcutting is a pretty slow skill to level so just cutting vines in varrock seems to be one of the quickest methods of leveling.
The problem with using vines to level is that you get nothing at all from them, so i actually did a few yews and magic as well, and made them into insence sticks, as they seem to be fairly valuable and also they stack so you can do this switching for vines if you want to make some kind of profit.
Usually i just go between 3 tree locations, as they take about 10 minutes to respawn after cutting. These tree logs are worth about 9k per log currently, so it seems to be a good money maker.
Tree Runs
A Tree run consists of three trees, allowing the cooldown on each tree to run while you are cutting other trees. The cooldown on each tree is 10 minutes per person, so it does not matter if someone else is cutting the same tree you will still get your own cooldown before you are able to cut it again. Going between three trees allows the 1st one to be out of cooldown by the time you have cut the third tree.
Here are my current favourite tree runs. Easy to remember and get to using loadstones.
Tree Run One
I usually do Edgeville, then Draynor North and then South, and you can bank and edgeville or draynor depending how your invent is going. You usually have to do three trees as the respawn timer is 10 minutes per tree.

If you have activated the spirit tree just travel from varrock to the gnome stronghold.
Yanille Elder Tree
Just use the Yanille loadstone and then go south and east down to the tree location.
Varrock Elder Tree
South of Varrock, north of the Rat Pen, or west of East Varrock Mine. Loadstone to Varrock and go east.
Edgeville Elder Tree
Just loadstone to edgeville and head south and then east, its a good time to bank the logs while going here as well on the way down.
Draynor North Elder Tree
Loadstone to Draynor and then head north west. Or you can fally load stone, but this is a longer walk.
Draynor South Elder Tree
Just run south of the draynor loadstone, you can bank on the way down there if you need too.
