No patch notes, anyone know this is about?

EDIT: It was 70 MB, not 30 Gig, my mistake.

update is 70MB not 30GB.

Download is 70MB. Size of updated files is 30.1GB

It shows as 30gb at first, but downloads only 70mb. It modifies a lot of massive files though, thats why it shows "30gb", modified files have combined weight of 30 gb.

Basically every heavy resource archive file got some slight modifications. And also a file with brazilian localization.

Took my PC like an hour to finish install and when it did the game wouldnt run until i rebooted my pc for some reason. wouldnt even open.

mates this didnt just add a character
it installed over older files and compressed a few hundred
this means when a 70mb patch comes in, the game must decompress the pak
this case it was 30gb pak
so its unzipping the pack aka 30gb to apply the 70mb patch into it, then it compresses it again

means the code is ♥♥♥♥ but this is all too common
512kb file taking 1 hr and 200gb

there are a few cdpr put out like that for witcher 3 in its early years
