EU vs NA , constructive thread
So ,why i don't enjoy playing the Eu version ? (notice:if i enjoyed it i would pay for it,one way or another)
1. Lack of support
Wintraders/bots/bug abusers/filthy pedos not banned . The first 3 imo,should be banned in time,else anything goes in this game. Without "fair play" people get depressed . The 4th category should also be banned,because seriously,if i wanted to be at 4chan,i would be there,and i don't think that tera is 4chan's expansion or something and sure i can close global or ignore those comments,but is that the best solution ? I don't feel like closing global and i also can't simply ignore s3x comments usually around elins .
2. Lack of events
So yeah we had a hide n seek,double pvp credits and pve drops . I shouldn't complain.But why i do ? Because we had pvp events for 6 days / 6 months i am playing this game and pve events for 5 days/ 6 months . On the other hand yesterday i watched a weekly stream made by enmasse (+ for that) and guess what,they do giveaways at the end of each stream . And it's natural there,but for me it seemed like an event ,that's how we get treated
Also not to mention that Konijntje does way better events,more interesting and with more rewards,and i don't know if now that he's mod keeps on paying them from his own pockets,but pretty sure that was the case before he became mod .
Also there are some events like take selfie,but even with them something goes wrong (see: Green edition winners complain thread)
Sidenote : i have to give congratulations for sponsoring the veritas deathmatch event, that was a good move
Another note : give something to flanberry too for writing one of the most useful guides
3. Lack of communication and delay
So,server merge got delayed. That's can be understandable. But there was one comment ,that you might passed by,i think it was created by Ruse,and to sum up he/she was saying :
"The thing that actually went bad from gameforge's side was not delaying the server merge for 1 year,but the fact that didn't gave any clue whatsoever if it's ever gonna happen and when. If people that rage quitted the game 5-6 months ago knew that a merge would happen a percentage of them might have stayed "
I don't mind getting delayed content,i completely understand that ,but it really annoys me not knowing when the delayed content is gonna arrive .
Example : you order and your neighbor orders pizza at the same time from the same pizza shop . Your neighbor gets it after 20 mins,and you wait. 10 mins later you call them and ask when it's gonna arrive and they reply to you "I'm sorry but i can't share this information with you,you know before 6 months a pizza delivery got delayed and a costumer got angry and didn't tip the delivery boy".So you know that your neighbor has already eaten and you wait without knowing when it's gonna arrive.
4. Lack of ingame items
Yeah yeah yeah,spellbind,semi-enigmatic scrolls . Some say that tera na is p2w,i can't give my input on this one,since i don't have any endgame character on na. But by quick looking at the shop those are the prices :
spellbind : 40g each
mwa : 75 -80 gold each
semi-enigmatic : 200gold each
mes : 200 gold each
Eu prices :
spellbind : 220g each
mwa : 140g each
semi-enigmatic : 4k each
mes : 220g each
So,let's say i do 1 LoT run in EU and 1 LoT run in NA and in both runs i get 3 mes and 10 mwa
EU's profit : 1400 from mwa and 660 from mes = 2.060 gold. Not bad
Na's profit : 800 from mwa and 600 from mes = 1400 . OMG I LOST GOLD .
Now i'm happy that i play in eu ,because my farming gave me 600 more gold . Now i'm going to buy stuff . I can buy 9 spellbinds . Ok. I want to reroll a stat on my jewelery . Oh wait,i need to do another LoT run to get that one IF THERE IS ONE AT TRADE BROKER .
Now i'm pissed because i need to do 1 more run (you need 14 spellbinds) or to get 1 semi-enigmatic scroll .
So 2 runs and i got either 1 semi-enigmatic scroll or 19 spellbinds . Nice .
Now i go to NA and i'm mad because i have only 1400 gold . Before i go to do LoT again ,i take a look at broker . Am i dreaming ? I can buy 35 spellbinds or 7 semi enigmatic scrolls.
So if my purpose was to farm LoT in order to get 7 semi enigmatic scrolls , 1 NA's run = 14 Eu's runs . Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet .

5. Lack of cosmetics
Yes appearance matters and i'm not in tera to dress up my elin . But i want to look to something fitting my taste while i play . So yes appearance does matter even tho many don't play "Tera : dress your elin online " . So,we are getting denied a federation bill shop . Nice. Real life again , when would i became a fashion victim,when i would be able to change outfits as soon as i wanted ,OR when i m denied most of outfits ? Seems to me that if i was in the first group ,i would become addicted to ingame "fashion" ,while on the 2nd group i wouldn't bother that much .
