European fans can finally take a breath; the final team that will represent Europe in Sweden was decided this past weekend at DreamHack Tours. Congratulations to mYinsanity, who will be joining Team Dignitas at the 2016 Heroes Global Summer Championship!

We’ve got an exciting weekend of Heroes esports ahead; Summer Regionals are being played in South East Asia and Taiwan, the Super League semifinals are getting underway in Korea, and ESL’s Invitational Qualifier in North America will see teams including Cloud9 and Tempo Storm competing in a last attempt to book their spots at Regional #2. If you’re planning to watch all of this weekend’s action from around the world, good luck!

Negative Synergy	vs.	Tutsis		Playing one of the most aggressive comps drafted in the ANZ scene to date, Negative Synergy used the combined powers of Muradin, Thrall, Sylvanas, Li-Ming and Uther to their advantage on Cursed Hollow.
MVP Black	vs.	eStar Gaming		Two of the strongest teams in the world played their hearts out in Gold League this weekend. The level of skill and mechanical perfection shown by both teams in this epic game makes it well worth the watch!

DreamHack Tours Crowns a New EU Regional Champion!

The second European team heading to DreamHack Sweden for the Heroes Global Circuit Summer 2016 Finals has claimed their place! Congratulations to mYinsanity! For a rundown of and videos from the final stages of the event, check out our recent recap article.

Both North America and Europe have two Regionals this season. Details about how teams are qualifying for the Summer Global Championship, as well as what will happen in case of conflicting Regional results, can be found here!

Two Giants Remain Heading into the NA Invitational Qualifier

Astral Authority and Team Name Change, both of whom competed at the first North America Regional event, earned their spots for Regional #2 last weekend. Only two spots for the event remain, and will be up for grabs at ESL’s Invitational Qualifier in Burbank this weekend. Surprising fans and casters alike, both Cloud9 and Tempo Storm--widely considered two of the strongest teams in North America last year--are among the teams who have yet to qualify. On Sunday, we’ll find out if either or both of them are able to secure spots at Regional #2, where the following teams will be waiting:

• Team Name Change

Gold League Comes to and End!

It’s been a long road for China, but this year’s Gold League has officially concluded, and the two teams heading to the 2016 Summer Championship in Sweden have shown that they have what it takes to compete with the reigning champions: MVP Black. MVP Black were actually the Gold League winners, but because they were an invited team and not eligible to represent China on the global stage, the second- and third-place teams eStar Gaming and X-Team will be playing in Sweden. Congratulations to both teams!

Super League Season 2 Group B Concludes!

The final two teams from Group B of the Super League Group Stage have been eliminated- unable to keep up with their opponents, a 3-0 loss to Tempest knocked TAS out on Wednesday. Tempest was once again able to prove their mettle and dedication with a knock-out punch to DsA this morning. Through a 3-1 loss, DsA has now been the final team eliminated. Joining MVP Black and Mighty in the Super League Playoffs from Group B will be Team No Limit and Tempest!

Chromie Time Shifts into the Nexus!

The Bronze Dragon tasked with maintaining the balance of time and space has joined the Nexus to prove that there is more power hidden in the smallest things than you will ever know! Chromie, a charming yet forgetful gnome, has joined the Hero ranks as the newest Warcraft Assassin.

A mage with limited health but incredible range and burst potential, Chromie earns her talents one level early (there are perks to being the Keeper of Time!) and manipulates the sands of time to decimate her opponents. As she was released on the PTR alongside the current patch changes, many players already have a strong grasp on her potential. Keep an eye out for this tiny, time-travelling terror who will be eligible for competitive play in a couple of weeks!
