Did see where anyone was bleeding information to help others on this mob, thought I would.



First off you will not see rockets shot off when you beat this event, no half naked woman is coming to give you a hug and hand you the keys to a new car. But after many weeks of killing named in POW, killing Grandmaster was still fun.



We set up in the West (one mob) room and pull the Frazzled Opponent and his 4 Black Pawns (mezzable). We brought down the pawns to 10% each and the Frazzled Opponent to 15%, then killed the pawns first and then the Frazzled Opponent.



Once the Frazzled Opponent was dead we moved onto the North West corner of the chess board and set up on the first Black square on the North west side of the board and pretty much didn't have to move much from there.



We then killed the 4 White pawns (mezzable)while the GM was being offtanked. Once the black pawns are dead we fully engaged GM. During the event you will get either (white pieces) or (black pieces) in song window, this really just means you need to avoid the opposite pawns, rooks and bishop that will walk the board. They are easy as hell to avoid in the position I started you in.



my Audio trigger was as follows:

side of the white pieces = avoid black pieces

side of the black pieces = avoid white pieces



Groups were roughly 2 raid cotf groups



Loot was

Fiery Warhelm of Rallos Zek ( which drops each time we killed it)

Battlecharged Blade (int Caster weapon)

Soul of the Grandmaster (50 AC Shield Aug)
