After 255 wild lvl in a stat the points will reset. Like when a creature gets its 256 point into a stat IT gets back to 1.

Try go into steam overlay -> Settings -> In-Game -> And change the max pings from the default 5000 per min to a lower number (1500 or less) and see if it solves the issue.
