86mb sounds like a workshop item / mod. Could maybe try to unsub to all mods then load in / redownload any that you need.

Sometimes you have to move around the forge to get the 'access inventory' prompt. Worse case, demo it and build another. It may be how you placed it, affecting the inventory access.

Probably something else is in the way. The hitboxes of objects are not always what you'd expect, and something can be overlapping it from a different angle.
