Interesting. I only saw that once, and I thought it was because something attacked them. I know there's an eclipse mechanic, but from what I've gathered it happens rarely.

Everywhere has the day night cycle I believe even if it doesn't show it. I've seen the megalosaurus wake up on their own and start wandering around before when in the trench on extinction.

It looks like your server is starting successfully so there shouldn't be a problem there, perhaps try and replace your multihome ip to your public ip instead of the default one?

Make Cactus broth and swim to get it. No tames required. You can farm the drops this way also. Either hop over to Scorched Earth or Ragnarok and grab the cactus and other ingredients. Both under water..
