I would blame this on Steam and not the developers although Steam does what the developer(s) ask.I'm sure someone here in the ARK forum will know why Steam is acting funny.

As gran says have the parents been imprinted ?When breeding for stats its best not to imprint the breeding pair so you can monitor the stats better.

Genesis was accidentally removed by a recent update. Things haven't quite gotten back to normal yet, give it another hour or two. I think they're rolling back.

Either your monitor is plugged into your mobo instead of the video card or your video card is bad.The video is also probably out of date.
