I have run probably 400 T6 rifts with my DH. I know some people prefer grifts or bounties or whatever, but T6 rifts are what I like. I generally find them enjoyable and they have great experience and legend drop rates.

As you can imagine, I have gotten a little bored of my DH after spamming sentries for 400 rifts and I have wanted to try something new.

I have ventured off to a wizard which I had not used much since 2.1. While my wizard's ability to kill is on par with the DH, the rifts are nowhere near as enjoyable. I feel like I spend probably 90% of my time just walking around the map and backtracking where I have already been with my maddeningly slow movement speed.

I never really noticed how awful the backtracking is until I no longer had my tumble-vault to speed past the boring parts. The backtracking is only made worse when it is compounded with low rift density.

Just as a thought and suggestion:

Is it entirely necessary to have the fog of war in rifts? If the rifts just happened to show us the whole map and we could march straight from one level to the next indefinitely until we have killed enough to release the rift boss... is that really going to make the game WORSE for anyone?

Go ahead and keep the pylons/shrines/goblins hidden, but if we could see the base layout of the map I would really enjoy rifting a lot more.
